Rating Guidelines

These are the official posting guidelines (“Site Guidelines”) for www.ratearesidency.com (“Site”, “we”, “us” or “our”) and is a part of, and an Additional Terms under, our Terms of Use Agreement. The Site provides user generated feedback on medical residency programs. Medical residency program ratings should only be posted by users who have rotated with or are currently rotating with or working at that medical residency program.

Please review the following guidelines before posting a rating and/or comment on the Site:


Do Not:

The Site reserves the right to remove any comments deemed as inappropriate, libelous, defamatory, indecent, vulgar or obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit or sexually suggestive, racially, culturally, or ethnically offensive, harmful, harassing, intimidating, threatening, hateful, objectionable, discriminatory, or abusive, or which may or may not appear to impersonate anyone else or that otherwise violate the Terms of Use Agreement.

Comments that contain the following will be removed.

The “Do Not” section of these Site Guidelines will be strictly enforced and the Site reserves all rights to delete or otherwise take appropriate action regarding any violations. If you see a rating that you believe violates these Site Guidelines, please click the “report this rating” at the bottom of the comment and state the problem. Such comments will be evaluated by the Site’s personnel.

Please note, all the reviews on this website are user submitted and should be treated only as opinions. They are not the opinions of RateaResidency.com or any of its affiliates.

Please do not flag a rating just because you disagree with it.

The Site reserves the right to delete, provide to authorities or otherwise take appropriate action regarding comments that threaten violence or bodily harm to another user or professor including, but not limited to, notifying the authorities of your IP address and the time you rated and taking any action as described in the Terms of Use Agreement and Privacy Policy.

Residency Feedback Guidelines

Additionally, please note that the above referenced guidelines are also applicable for feedbacks posted by individuals affiliated with the residency program. As a reminder, please do not include any identifiable information about a student that would allow someone to contact him/her outside of his/her school. This also includes remarks about a student’s family and/or personal life.
